Green Room Events is a small and unique music booking, events and promotion’s company comprised of Zane Rettstatt and Kelley Sampson.  Zane was the sole buyer for bands for Harbor Sounds in Solomon’s, Maryland in the early 2000’s and also setup and coordinated the annual Tiki Bar Spring Launch outdoor music festivals.  Zane also ran the street team for the Niki Barr Band from 2002-2006.  It was through that experience,  that Zane knew he had found his passion.  Through the street team, Zane met some awesome bands, agents booking agents and other music professionals.  In late Summer 2006 the Tiki Bar in Solomon’s called upon Zane to start booking some island themed bands for them.  In December 2006, Zane’s good friend Kelley Sampson became interested in learning the music and promotions business and thus, Green Room Events was born!  Zane is President and Kelley is Vice-President, Talent and Events Coordinator for Green Room Events.  Kelley has extensive experience in the local and regional music scene and knows who the latest hot bands are.  If a band is on the rise, Kelley knows about it.
